The Traditional Taekwondo Festival is Approaching Fast!

As many of you have probably already heard, we are hosting one of our annual tournaments in May. Never been to a tournament before? Are you wondering what they’re all about? This post will explain everything you need to know!

What are tournaments?

Tournaments are an opportunity for students from all of our locations to come together as a Taekwondo family. Students can compete in a variety of different events, depending on their age and belt level. It gives them the chance to gain valuable competition experience, practice and knowledge that you cannot gain from regular classes alone. It’s a fun day for everyone where students get to show their skills and earn medals!

Who can participate in tournaments?

Everyone is welcome to participate! We have events for all belt levels, including panther cubs. At some point in their Taekwondo journey, all students are expected to participate in tournaments as it is a requirement for certain belt level testing. Senior belts are encouraged to go as an example to lower belt students.
